CEC received no complaints during voting in extraterritorial polling stations

Voting at 329 extraterritorial polling stations in 81 subjects of Russia ended successfully. The voting was attended by residents of the LPR, DPR, Kherson and Zaporozhye regions, which are currently located in other regions. This was reported by TASS with reference to the Deputy Chairman of the CEC of the Russian Federation Nikolai Bulaev.

Bulaev also clarified that the CEC had not received a single complaint from either voting participants, observers, or members of election commissions.

At 18:00 on September 4, the turnout in the elections to the legislative assembly of the Zaporozhye region was 21.86%, to the People’s Council of the LPR – 23.65%, to the council of the urban district of Lugansk – 0.46%; to the Kherson Regional Duma – 43.39%; to the People’s Council of the DPR – 42.22%, Donetsk City Council – 42.72%.

The Single Voting Day (UDD) is scheduled for September 10th. Elections from September 8 to 10 will also be held in new regions – the DPR, LPR, Zaporozhye and Kherson regions. Residents will elect deputies to local legislative assemblies, which will then hold a vote to elect the heads of subjects.

Early voting in new regions of Russia began August 30 due to the shortened period of the election campaign.
