Case of Jankauskas on discrediting the army with a quote from the Pope is dismissed

Administrative proceedings against the municipal deputy Konstantins Jankauskas, against whom a protocol was drawn up on discrediting the army, were terminated due to the lack of corpus delicti. Reason for making a report became the post of Mr. Jankauskas on VKontakte, where he quoted the prayer of Pope Francis for peace in Ukraine.
“The judge of the Zyuzinsky court, Slyuzova, dismissed the case against me for the prayer of the Pope in connection with the absence of corpus delicti,” wrote Mr. Jankauskas in his Telegram channelthanking his supporters who came to the court hearings.
The publication of Konstantin Jankauskas, which became the reason for the start of the trial, is dated March 14. It contains the text of the Pope’s prayer for peace and the cessation of hostilities in Ukraine.
