“The cargo turnover of Russian seaports in January-July 2022 decreased by 0.2% compared to the same period last year and amounted to 482 million tons,” the message says.

The department noted that the volume of dry cargo transshipment decreased by 5.1% to 225.8 million tons, and liquid cargo increased by 4.5% to 256.2 million tons.

The cargo turnover of the seaports of the Arctic basin amounted to 56.5 million tons (+3.3%), the Baltic basin – 143.6 million tons (-0.6%), the Azov-Black Sea basin – 147.6 million tons (+0.3%). %), the Far East basin – 131.2 million tons (-0.9%). The cargo turnover of the seaports of the Caspian basin decreased in annual terms by 27.5% due to a 40% drop in liquid cargo transshipment, Rosmorrechflot noted.
