The captain of the Rostov football club Danil Glebov wants to play for a more status club. This was suggested by the head coach of the “yellow-blue” Valery Karpin in an interview with Match TV
– I don’t think that everything suits him in Rostov. I am sure that he wants to get into a status club, not necessarily in Russia. This is a normal desire for any professional, – said Valery Karpin.
The head coach also added that Glebov is grateful to Rostov and does not want to let the football club down.
– He understands that it would not be humane for him to stand up and say goodbye, the TV channel quoted Karpin as saying.
Recall that Danil Glebov is from Tomsk. Even at a young age, he was noticed by the Moscow Lokomotiv, who invited him to the academy. The midfielder spent two years there, from 2015 to 2017. Then he moved to Anji Makhachkala, and from there to Rostov. For a couple of seasons, Glebov became one of the main players of the “yellow-blue” in the center of the field. After he was appointed team captain.
According to the portal transfermarkt, the transfer value of a football player in 2019 was 700 thousand euros (at the current exchange rate – more than 55 million rubles). For several seasons in Rostov, the player’s value increased to 7.5 million euros (more than 597 million rubles).
