The candidate for mayor of Moscow from the Just Russia – For Truth party (SRZP) in the autumn elections, as Kommersant had previously suggested, will be the leader of its metropolitan branch, State Duma deputy Dmitry Gusev. This was announced tonight, February 16th, at the SRHR Regional Chapter Conference. The nomination of Mr. Gusev was supported by the chairman of the party, Sergei Mironov, in his letter to the delegates of the conference. The deputy himself noted the importance of the Moscow campaign for the party, since its outcome will affect the prospects of the future SRZP candidate for president in the 2024 elections.
The conference also decided to “discuss with Muscovites” the draft party program for the mayoral elections. Dmitry Gusev said that her main point would be to help large families and families of participants in a special military operation. He said that at a meeting with President Vladimir Putin on February 14, Sergei Mironov put forward the idea of paying salaries to mothers of many children, which means that the “mother of many children” should be included in the register of professions. Another proposal of the leader of the SRZP concerns the introduction of free travel for members of large families.
As for the families of the participants in the special operation, here the Socialist-Revolutionaries propose to introduce the “Moscow standard”, which will include, in addition to existing payments and benefits, exemption from taxes on transport, property and personal income tax for the duration of the special operation, as well as guaranteed higher education for children mobilized in the event of the death of their parents.
