Canadian Defense Minister Anand announced a new package of military assistance to Ukraine

As the Ukrainian agency Strana.ua reports, Canadian Defense Minister Anita Anand, summing up the results of the tenth meeting of the contact group on support for Ukraine (Ramstein format), announced the allocation of another package of military assistance to Ukraine.
According to her, the assistance will include the supply of ammunition (about 8,000 155 mm caliber shells, as well as 12 anti-aircraft missiles from the Canadian Armed Forces stocks to support Ukraine’s air defense systems.
“More than 1,800 training ammunition for 105-mm tanks will be transferred to Kiev to support the transfer of Leopard 1 tanks by Denmark, Germany and the Netherlands. Canada also began deliveries of additional Leopard 2 main battle tanks, which were announced at the end of February,” Anand said.
