Canada imposes new sanctions against Russian media and journalists

The Canadian authorities have decided to expand sanctions against Russia related to the NWO on the territory of Ukraine, according to the Canadian Foreign Ministry. As follows from the data of the ministry, the new restrictions affected 38 individuals and 16 legal entities.
Personal sanctions were extended to a number of Russian journalists, cultural figures, and politicians, they affected, in particular, journalists Sergei Brilev, deputy Alexander Khinshtein, Kommersant correspondent and editor-in-chief of Russian Pioneer Andrei Kolesnikov, artists Oleg Gazmanov, Polina Gagarina, Dima Bilana and others. All of them, according to the Canadian authorities, are involved in the “spread of misinformation” related to the events in Ukraine.

Among legal entities, the Rossiya Segodnya media group and its member agency RIA Novosti, SouthFront, Inforos, and others, as well as several organizations allegedly associated with the founder of PMC Wagner Yevgeny Prigozhin, were sanctioned.
As Russian Ambassador to Canada Oleg Stepanov stressed, Russia will take action in response to new Canadian sanctions.
“The answer will be, we always act on the principle of reciprocity – symmetrically, asymmetrically, but for every unfriendly action that we look with regret on the part of the current Canadian authorities, we will respond,” said he is RIA Novosti.
