Buryat archers took the gold of the championship of Russia

From July 6 to 8, the Russian Archery Championship was held in the Trans-Baikal Territory. The Buryat men’s team won the first place in the team championship.
More than 300 athletes from 34 regions of Russia came to the competition, according to the Ministry of Sports of the Republic. In the finals of the championship, our athletes met with strong rivals from Moscow, but nevertheless turned out to be more targeted and won.
– We agreed in advance with the guys that we were going only for the first place. And it was the team result that worried us, because everyone can win in the individual championship, – says Russian archery champion Tsyren Baltakov.
At the championship, the team from Buryatia did not win a single medal in the individual championship. According to the participants, this was facilitated by severe weather conditions – there was a very strong wind.
Recall that on July 12, the Russian Archery Cup started in Ulan-Ude, and tomorrow, July 15, at 10 am, its final will take place at the central stadium.
