Russian regions are starting to fight wildfires. So, in Buryatia, Transbaikalia and the Tyumen region, a special regime for visiting forests has been introduced. The grass was already burning in Yekaterinburg. Authorities in a number of regions are urging citizens to report arsonists for a reward.

Throughout the Republic Buryatia since April 4, a special fire regime has been introduced (with the exception of the two most northern regions – Muisky and Severo-Baikalsky). This means a ban on visiting forests (except for specially equipped places of rest), as well as a ban on making fires on lands of all categories. “Despite the ongoing preventive work with the population, the operational situation is deteriorating,” the press service of the regional government complains. Forest fires in Buryatia began at the end of March, during which time more than 30 fires were recorded on an area of ​​over 4 thousand hectares. As of April 4, there is one fire in the republic on an area of ​​10 hectares.

The press service of the government reminds that violation of the special fire regime entails a fine of 40 thousand to 60 thousand rubles. for individuals and from 600 thousand to 1 million rubles for legal entities. During the period of a special fire regime, all preventive annealing is prohibited.

IN Trans-Baikal Territory A special fire regime has been in effect since March 1. As explained to Kommersant in the press service of the government of the region, such an early date is explained by the geographical features of the region: a large number of steppes, where landscape fires traditionally begin in March. In total, since the beginning of the fire season in Transbaikalia, 55 forest fires have been recorded on an area of ​​more than 3 thousand hectares.

It is interesting that the authorities of Transbaikalia encourage individuals who report the perpetrators of forest and steppe fires – this is spelled out in the governor’s decree, which has been in force since 2022.

Citizens who reported arsonists will receive a cash reward in the amount of 40 thousand rubles, those who participated in the arrest of arsonists – 50 thousand rubles.

According to the authorities Primorsky Territory, over the past day, 24 forest and natural fires on an area of ​​more than 349 hectares were registered in the territory of the region. All of them were promptly extinguished. Since March 30, a special fire regime has been in effect in the region. On April 1, Oleg Kozhemyako, the governor of the region, demanded that the heads of municipalities bring the perpetrators of natural fires to justice: “During the fire hazard period, you must investigate the cause of each fire. I emphasize that for each it is necessary to determine the culprit. There are administrative fines, and they are quite large. If this work is not organized, all these agricultural burns, annealing where someone wants to burn dry grass, will move into the forest, and then much bigger problems will begin.

Already on April 2–3, employees of the Primles regional institution drew up four administrative protocols – one each in the territories of the Ussuriysk, Sergeevsky, Dalnerechensky and Vladivostok branches. The materials were handed over to the police and the Ministry of Emergency Situations for further investigation. In three cases, citizens are suspected of deliberate arson.

The head of the Dalnerechensk branch of Primles, Nikolai Salnikov, said that the data from space monitoring of thermal points indicated that a thermal anomaly arose in the same place for several days. The suspicious territory was checked from the air – and the observer pilot found a citizen who set fire to dry grass. A ground patrol team caught the arsonist red-handed.

IN Tyumen region From April 3, a special fire regime was introduced and it was forbidden to visit the forests. The head of the region Alexander Moor promised to pay 40 thousand rubles. for data on forest arsonists and 50 thousand rubles. for help in their arrest.

IN Yekaterinburg On March 31, a large natural fire occurred: in the Solnechny microdistrict on an area of ​​300 sq. m burned dry grass. This was the first time since the beginning of the year that dry vegetation had ignited in the capital of the Urals. On April 3, the grass caught fire again in Yekaterinburg: next to the Solnechny microdistrict, dry vegetation blazed on an area of ​​7 hectares. The fire approached residential buildings, but the rescuers managed to stop the spread of fire in different areas 40 meters and 10 meters from the houses.

IN Chelyabinsk region the fires started on 1 April. In the forest fund, according to the Main Department of Forests of the region, on the morning of April 4, there were 14 fires on an area of ​​114.55 hectares. A large fire near the city of Yuryuzan (Katav-Ivanovsky district) was extinguished for more than a day – due to the fact that the fire was on a mountain that can only be reached on foot. According to the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia for the region, from April 1 to April 3, rescuers went to landscape fires more than 100 times, the total area of ​​which exceeded 80 hectares.

IN Jewish Autonomous Region (JAO) in the conditions of the fire-fighting regime, additional prohibitions have been introduced: it is forbidden to make open fire, as well as burn dry vegetation, firewood and combustible materials.
