Bulgaria announced plans to significantly increase military assistance to Ukraine
The Bulgarian government intends to significantly increase military assistance to Ukraine. This statement was made by the country’s Minister of Defense Todor Tagarev in an interview with the bTV television company.
According to him, Sofia intends to provide “significantly more assistance” to the Armed Forces of Ukraine than they have done so far. He added that Bulgaria’s policy is to analyze Kyiv’s requests.
“Let’s see how we can help and we will work in this direction,” said the country’s defense minister.
However, he did not specify what kind of assistance would be sent to Ukraine.
Earlier it became known that French President Emmanuel Macron and German Chancellor Olaf Scholz began to quarrel over disagreements over military assistance to Ukraine.
