The head of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, Kirill Budanov, announced new attacks on the Crimean Bridge.
In an interview with The Drive, he said that “the question is not whether we will attack or not.” New attacks, he said, “are only a matter of time.” Budanov made similar statements at the end of August. The Russian Ministry of Defense reported on August 22 that late in the evening the day before, an attack was launched on the bridge using two naval drones.
In April, the Lefortovo Court of Moscow arrested Budanov in absentia in the case of blowing up the Crimean Bridge in October 2022.
