Bryansk athletes successfully compete at the Russian Powerlifting Championship among the visually impaired. The finals of the competitions that take place in Chelyabinsk are approaching. So, Elizaveta Salasina in the discipline “deadlift” won “gold” and set a Russian record in the category of 56 kilograms. In the overall women’s standings, the team took third place.
Vadim Rudenko became the leader among juniors. The weightlifter became a debutant of the competition and competed in the 76.5 kg nomination. And Sergei Shatalov, his coach, won a medal of the highest standard and set a new record in squats with 222.5 kg.
