An athlete from Bryansk was among the winners of the Russian Weightlifting Championship. Large-scale competitions are taking place in Orenburg and will end on Saturday, March 30.
Boys and girls under 17 years old, coming from different parts of the country, are fighting for victory. Among them are representatives of the Bryansk region, the city sports committee reported.
In serious competition, Maxim Stepin, a student of the Vympel sports school, managed to clearly express himself. He won a bronze medal in the weight category up to 96 kilograms.
