The government of the Bryansk region has denied reports from the media and social networks about an attempt by a Ukrainian drone to attack a chemical plant near the town of Seltso.
As noted in the message government, operational services do not confirm the information that the Pantsir system shot down a drone a few kilometers from the alleged strike site. Officials recalled the criminal liability for the dissemination of false information and urged to trust only official sources.
Earlier today, March 14, a drone was shot down in another border region – the Belgorod region. The day before, four rockets had been shot down there.
Since the beginning of the special military operation in Ukraine, the authorities of the border regions have denied false information circulating on social networks. So, for example, last fall, the Kursk authorities denied rumors about the evacuation of the population to Tambov. Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs for the Kursk region before called a fake message about a wound in the regional center of a person who lifted an unfamiliar object from the ground. At the end of last month were refuted reports of saboteurs crossing the border.
