Briton Dubois knocked out South African Lerena and defended his boxing title

British boxer Daniel Dubois defeated South Africa’s Kevin Lerena to defend his World Boxing Association (WBA) world title. The heavyweight fight, which took place in London, ended with a TKO in the third round.
The 25-year-old Dubois now has 19 wins (18 by KO) and one loss. Lerain, 30, has 28 wins (14 by KO) and two losses. For Dubois, the victory in the fight was the first successful defense of the world boxing title. He received the belt in June by defeating American Trevor Bryan.
