British scientist proposes to settle endangered animals on Mars

Paul Lister Smith of the University of Bristol expressed the view that in the future “reserves” will be built on Mars, where endangered animals could be exported. The expert suggested that “greenhouses” with a closed ecosystem would be created for this purpose.
Smith stated that as the population of the Earth increases, there will be less and less room for animals on it.
In some respects, Mars is similar to the Earth – for example, the duration of the day on it is comparable to the Earth. At the same time, less sunlight, other lunar cycles and other factors can prevent the creation of “reserves” suitable for many terrestrial animals and plants. However, some species, according to the scientist, will be able to adapt to new conditions.
