British Home Secretary Suella Braverman has apologized for stepping on a guide dog’s tail with her heel. The newspaper reports this Daily Express.
Earlier, a photograph of a meeting between the head of the UK Home Office and representatives of the charity Guide Dogs UK appeared on social networks. In the photo, Suella Braverman’s heel crushes the tail of a guide dog, next to which stands a blind man wearing dark glasses.
The minister said that she did not know about what had happened until she was shown the scandalous photo. She noted that no dogs were harmed during her visit.
With a smile on her face, Braverman apologized to all the dogs for what happened. Laughter was heard in the hall at that moment.
