Speaking at the BRICS summit in Johannesburg on August 23, President Vladimir Putin notedthat during Russia’s presidency, Moscow will “interact in the most constructive way with its partners in the “five” in order to further strengthen the role and authority of the BRICS, which, of course, will only grow.” The summit is scheduled for October. Putin added that specific dates for the summit would be agreed upon.
