Brazilian representative urged to involve Russia in negotiations on Ukraine

Earlier, on August 5, two-day talks between national security advisers and political advisers began in Saudi Jeddah, where Ukraine should present its “peace formula”. About 40 states take part in the meeting, but it takes place without the participation of Russia.
Russian presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov previously reported that Moscow would monitor the talks in Jeddah, and Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said that “if Saudi Arabia’s talks on Ukraine help the West understand the dead end of the” plan [президента Владимира] Zelensky”, then they will not be useless.”
On July 31, Mexican President Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador announced that his country did not intend to take part in these negotiations, since all parties to the conflict do not participate in them.
