Brass band, art installation and master class: how women were congratulated on their most tender day in Moscow

On International Women’s Day, the capital has prepared a large number of different surprises for the fair half of humanity.

The first holiday gifts awaited the ladies on Thursday, March 7; patients were treated to delicious gingerbread cookies and non-alcoholic warming drinks at the city clinics, and at the Moscow Medical Scientific Center. A.S. Loginova was performed by a real brass band of the Department of Civil Defense, Emergency Situations and Fire Safety and the Moscow Ministry of Emergency Situations. But the capital’s medicine staged a real celebration on March 8th. An orchestra played in hospitals for female medical workers and patients, and employees of the Moscow Municipal Economy Complex and the Department of Labor and Social Protection of the Population gave them tens of thousands of tulips. In addition, a flower art installation was installed in the main building of the Kommunarka Moscow International Cultural Center; it will delight you with its bright colors throughout the week.

Traditionally, a large number of women work in the healthcare system, these are doctors, nurses, paramedics, midwives, orderlies, laboratory assistants and many others. Thus, in the capital, female medical personnel make up about 82% of the total number of medical workers.

At this time, in the capital’s registry offices, everyone could come to the master classes of wedding photographer Anna Timoshenko and street photographer Semyon Rezchikov “Love in the frame: How to take perfect photos and not get divorced.” Using simple examples, they told men how to choose the right lighting and angle so that their other half would be satisfied with their photo.
