The title of Russian champion from Tatarstan was last won by Foat Gatin in 1992. Three decades later, the boxer from Tatarstan returned the championship title, said the President of the Boxing Federation of the Republic of Tatarstan, Deputy Secretary General of the Russian Boxing Federation Sergey Ignatiev.
He thanked the athlete and his coaches Pavel Kozlov, Viktor Shevelin, as well as the entire team of the Tatarstan Boxing Federation for the great work.
