Boxers from Dagestan won the world championship

Dagestan boxers continue to achieve success in the international arena. At the Youth World Championships in Yerevan, Bayramkhan Ashurov and Islam Magomedov won gold medals. Bayramkhan became the best in the weight category up to 80 kg, defeating opponents from Uzbekistan, Georgia, Chinese Taipei and India. Islam won the up to 46 kg weight category, defeating boxers from Romania, Belarus, South Korea and Armenia.
