Boxer Vargas retains WBC title after finishing in a draw with Ball

Mexican boxer Rey Vargas and Briton Nick Ball ended their fight in a draw in Riyadh. The World Boxing Council (WBC) world champion title in the featherweight division (up to 57.2 kg) remained with the Mexican.
The 33-year-old Vargas now has 36 wins, one loss and one draw in his professional career. Ball, 27, has 19 wins and one draw.
In another fight in Riyadh, Russian Magomed Kurbanov lost Israil Madrimov. The fight ended with a technical knockout in the fifth round. The Russian failed to win the World Boxing Association (WBA) world title in the weight category up to 69.9 kg.
