Borsky “Spartak” regained leadership in the Championship of the Nizhny Novgorod region

On July 30, the next round of the Nizhny Novgorod Region Football Championship ended. The main events developed in the “North” group, where the players of “Volna” from Kovernino and Borsk “Spartak” are fighting for the 1st place. In the 2nd round “Spartak” from Borsk lost to “Volna” in full-time confrontation and for a while lost the first line. The wards of Sergei Mukhotin were able to regain their leadership in the standings after a home match with one of the main outsiders of the championship – Gorodets.
Borsky “Spartak” scored 7 goals against the geographical neighbors, and “Gorodets” was able to answer with only one goal. A devastating victory over the outsider allowed Spartak from Borsk to return to 1st place in the North group, while their competitor from Kovernino lost in Dzerzhinsk and dropped to 2nd place.
Before the end of the first part of the season in the Championship of the Nizhny Novgorod Region, there are only 3 rounds left to play, which, due to cup meetings, will stretch until the end of August. The division into the Higher and First Leagues will take effect from September.
