Borrell called on the EU to prepare for the entry of ten new countries

The head of European diplomacy, Josep Borrell, called on the European Union to prepare for a new enlargement. He noted that 10 new members will join the organization, the FT newspaper writes.
Borrell noted that the timing of their admission needs to be considered.
Now the official candidates for EU membership are eight countries – North Macedonia, Albania, Serbia, Turkey, Montenegro, Ukraine, Moldova, Bosnia and Herzegovina. Two other countries that are potential applicants are Georgia and Kosovo.
