State Duma deputy, former Prime Minister of the DPR Alexander Borodai expressed his opinion on how the Ukrainian counteroffensive could develop.
According to him, a serious counteroffensive of the Armed Forces of Ukraine will begin in the next few weeks. If it fails, then the Russian forces will have the opportunity to launch a counteroffensive, Borodai stressed.
“And when the enemy has already been defeated and lost his reserves of manpower, the offensive will go quickly, swiftly. We have such opportunities,” the politician said in interview NSN.
He added that the task of the Russian forces is to contain the spring counteroffensive of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and “destroy as much enemy manpower and equipment as possible.”
At the same time, Borodai warned, in the event of an unfavorable development of events, the enemy would be able to hold the front line, and then at the end of summer or autumn “one more wave of offensive can be expected.”
At the same time, Borodai believes that the autumn offensive of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, if it takes place, will be weaker.
