In nine municipalities of the Belgorod region, which border on Ukraine, schools will start distance learning from September 1. The authorities allow the organization of transfers for children to other schools located further from the border, if necessary. Groups on duty will work in kindergartens.
As specified in regional government, we are talking about educational institutions located in a five-kilometer zone along the border in the Krasnoyarzhsky, Belgorod, Borisov, Rovno, Veydelevsky and Volokonovsky districts, in the Grayvoronsky, Shebekinsky and Valuysky districts. These schools will not hold festive assembly lines.
In the Belgorod region, there is an increased regime of terrorist danger in connection with the military operation in Ukraine. Since the end of February, shells from a neighboring state have killed eight people and damaged hundreds of houses and buildings in the region. Social facilities were also damaged – for example, on the night of July 15 in the border town of Grayvoron due to a bomb dropped from a quadrocopter was damaged library. There were no casualties, but the blast damaged 80% of the metal tiles.
It should be noted that earlier the Minister of Education of Russia Sergey Kravtsov spokethat schools in the territories bordering Ukraine and Donbass will start studying in a standard full-time mode, the introduction of distance learning is not planned. True, he admitted that the local authorities would act on the basis of the situation.
