In the summer of 2023, Svetlana Bondarchuk became a mother for the third time when baby Peter appeared in her marriage to composer Sergei Kharchenko. The model and actress, who is already 54 years old, hid the birth of her child for four months and only after he was four months old did she declassify him. Until recently, she did not show her son’s face. But now she has finally demonstrated what little Petya looks like on her Telegram channel.

On social networks, Svetlana congratulated her eldest son Sergei on his 32nd birthday. She posted several family photos on her page. In one of them, Svetlana stands next to Sergei and holds his younger brother in her arms. Peter looks at his relative with interest, clearly showing sympathy for him.

“Seryozha, you are the best thing that happened in the life of your parents. I remember well the day when you were born. You combined all the best qualities of your parents and grandparents, and threw away everything unnecessary. I watch how you constantly you develop and change for the better,” the TV presenter addressed her eldest son.

Sergei was born in Svetlana’s marriage to director Fyodor Bondarchuk. Fyodor and Svetlana lived together for 25 years and they also have a daughter, Varvara. They divorced in 2016, but Svetlana still keeps the surname of her ex-husband. In her new marriage, she abandoned the surname Kharchenko and continues to use the surname Bondarchuk.

She often gets asked questions about this on social networks. Svetlana repeatedly emphasized that in her previous marriage she kept her maiden name – Rudskaya, and used Bondarchuk as a pseudonym. The TV presenter explained to her subscribers why she continues to use her ex-husband’s last name.

According to her, the reason is that she has already formed a personal brand. Svetlana worked as a model, actress, TV presenter, organizer of social events and editor-in-chief of Hello! magazine. And she did all this under the name Bondarchuk. If she now becomes Kharchenko, she will have to rebuild her career under a new name.
