The Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) shelled the village of Kurshanovichi in the Bryansk region. As a result, two houses, a kindergarten, a shop and a post office were damaged. About it informed Governor Alexander Bogomaz in his Telegram channel.
“Today, the Armed Forces of Ukraine shelled the village of Kurshanovichi in the Klimovsky district. There were no casualties. As a result of the shelling, two residential households, buildings of a kindergarten, a shop, and a post office were damaged. Operational services are working on the spot, ”he wrote.
The day before, July 9, Bogomaz informed about two downed Ukrainian missiles by air defense forces. One of the shells fell on a sawmill in the village of Bytosh, as a result, the object was completely destroyed. There were no casualties, the governor said. According to the Telegram channel Mash, the Armed Forces of Ukraine tried to strike at the Desnogorsk nuclear power plant in the Smolensk region and a military airfield in the Kaluga region.
Earlier today the Ministry of Defense declared about an unsuccessful attempt by Kyiv to strike at objects in the Crimea, Kaluga and Rostov regions using S-200 missiles. The department specified that two Ukrainian missiles were destroyed by air defense forces. Two more shells knocked out electronic warfare equipment (EW).
In the Bryansk region, a high (“yellow”) level of terrorist danger is indefinitely. In addition, from October 19, 2022, by decree of the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin, a “medium level of response” has been established in the region. The same regime operates in seven other regions – Crimea, Sevastopol, Krasnodar Territory, Kursk, Voronezh, Belgorod and Rostov regions.
