The Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) used a drone to strike an industrial facility in Bryansk, causing an administrative building to catch fire. The governor of the Bryansk region, Alexander Bogomaz, announced this in his Telegram channel.
According to the head of the region, no one was injured in the attack on the facility.
“Ukrainian terrorists used a UAV to attack an industrial facility in the city of Bryansk. As a result, the administrative building caught fire. There were no casualties,” wrote Bogomaz, adding that emergency services are on the scene.
The Bryansk region was subjected to several attacks from Ukraine on the day of September 7. Before this, the governor reported the shelling of the village of Sluchevsk from the Grad MLRS, as well as the village of Demyanki. In addition, several Ukrainian drones were shot down in the sky over the region.
The Bryansk region, as well as other border regions, are regularly attacked by the Ukrainian side. The region remains at a high (“yellow”) level of terrorist threat indefinitely. Since October 19, 2022, by decree of Russian President Vladimir Putin, a medium level of response has been established in the region.
