Bogodel: Poland is pushing the topic of the Suwalki cordor to enter Lithuania

Poland uses the theme of the Suwalki corridor with the aim of entering Lithuanian territory with its army, allegedly for the purpose of protection. This statement was made by Andrei Bogodel, Deputy Head of the Faculty of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Military Academy of the Republic of Belarus.
“Poland, therefore, is constantly escalating the situation in order to subsequently enter the territory of Lithuania and occupy the Vilna region, allegedly under the auspices of protecting this region,” the expert said in an interview with STV.
He clarified that the Suwalki corridor runs not only through Poland, but also through Lithuania. According to him, there are no transport highways in the Suwalki corridor, since there are “only swamps”.
