Blue fuel for citizens: how new microdistricts are being gasified in the Stavropol region

Stavropol has been developing dynamically in recent years, with new neighborhoods, streets and squares appearing in it. Even entire microdistricts are appearing, including the Valley of Roses, an area of ​​modern development with private houses.

But the provision of blue fuel here was not delayed until the completion of the main construction – residents who moved into the first completed houses almost immediately gained access to gas. Among them is the family of Olga Shevchuk. “Of course, we should say thank you to both the gas workers and our builders. They are very competent

joined forces, and each of them, for their part, invested serious resources. The gas pipeline line to our microdistrict was the longest of those built recently in the city, but it was completed very quickly. And the developer ensured the prompt installation of gas communications already on the territory of our household, as well as with our neighbors. In general, now it turns out that every home owner comes in and already gets connected gas. We received the keys to the house on November 1, and already on November 16 we were able to turn on the boiler and gas stove,” says Olga Shevchuk. It should be noted that the work on providing gas equipment receives significant support from the regional authorities. It is no coincidence that the head of the region, Vladimir Vladimirov, was present at the ceremony of launching the gas line to the microdistrict. The Shevchuk family is especially pleased with the fact that gas fuel costs quite moderate amounts. Even in the coldest winter months, the cost of heating did not exceed two thousand rubles.

“We heated very well, including because it was necessary to dry the interior of the house, but the costs did not hit our pockets much. Our own warm home with stable gas heating is, of course, great happiness for our family with two children and an elderly grandmother,” Olga emphasizes.

Staromaryevka is one of the suburbs of Stavropol, and gasification here is carried out as intensively as in the city itself. In the fall of 2022, the new house of Anastasia Pelikh’s family was connected to gas supply. According to her, she managed to speed up the process by submitting an application through the State Services service.

“We knew from the experience of many neighbors that connecting to resources can be long and difficult. So we decided to act early and submitted an online application even before we received the property documents. They were afraid that they would refuse, but no – the application was accepted, and copies of the documents were added later.

At the same time, after our application was accepted, the connection work began very quickly – literally in a matter of weeks we had communications installed to the boundaries of the site, and at the same time we installed equipment inside the household. And as a result, we managed to move into the house before winter. This was especially important for us, given that we just recently had a baby, the third in the family,” shares Anastasia.

Much work on gasification, including as part of a social program, is being carried out in the Kavminvod resort region. Among those who have already been able to take advantage of its benefits is Essentuchanian Pavel Kalyuzhnov. Six years ago, Pavel began building a house suitable for accommodating a family with two children. In 2021, when construction was coming to an end, the issue of gas connection began to be resolved. He was worried that it would be expensive and would require a lot of effort, but life managed to surprise him. “We submitted our first application in the spring of 2021, when the social gasification program had not yet been approved, so we issued it as a paid service. But later, the employees of the Essentuki Gorgaz themselves suggested that we reapply, this time on a social basis, and the money paid was returned to the card.

I would like to note that our house is located in an already built-up area, and we allocated a plot of land for it from an already existing one. This in itself implied certain difficulties with laying the line – after all, it was necessary to lay it again, but in such a way as not to disturb the neighbors. And our gas workers succeeded in this to the fullest extent: they built us a separate line from the main line, and they met it in the shortest possible time – in November we completed the necessary documents, and already on December 6 we were given gas. At the same time, during the process, gas service employees were very helpful with advice and, in general, acted as competently and politely as possible. Thanks to their activity, we were able to save a lot of time and effort – including because already in the winter of 2021/2022 we could live in the house, use heating and calmly complete interior renovations. Our whole family is sincerely grateful to the people who make people’s lives comfortable and prosperous,” notes Pavel Kalyuzhnov.
