The United States is considering introducing new requirements for citizens who arrive from China. The United States authorities attribute this decision to the outbreak of COVID-19 recorded in China, informs Bloomberg, citing the United States administration.
According to the publication, for arrivals from China in the United States, mandatory testing for coronavirus will be returned, as well as contact tracing to establish the epidemiological situation.
Recall, Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishidu said that all travelers from China, including those who have been in mainland China over the past seven days, will need to undergo a coronavirus test upon arrival in Japan from December 30.
At the same time, the PRC authorities decided to ease the coronavirus quarantine restrictions for people entering China from January 8, 2023, including lifting the mandatory quarantine requirement.
