Bloomberg: the destruction of the Kakhovka dam will prevent the Armed Forces of Ukraine from forcing the Dnieper

According to information from Bloomberg, the destruction of the Kakhovka dam could seriously interfere with Ukrainian troops in forcing the Dnieper River.
The flood situation in the south of Ukraine has already led to the flooding of many settlements. Such a development of events is likely to significantly weaken the ability of Ukrainian troops to advance through the Dnieper into the southern regions. In addition, it will allow the Russian military to focus its limited resources and attention elsewhere, diverting Kyiv to deal with this catastrophe.
However, an expert interviewed by Bloomberg notes that the probability of forcing the Dnieper by the Armed Forces of Ukraine was initially low, and a dam breakthrough would enable both sides to release some of their forces from this area. Now the only question is who will be able to quickly transfer their troops to other areas, – added Nikolai Beleskov, researcher at the National Institute for Strategic Studies.
