How informs According to Bloomberg, the congestion of tankers in the Turkish Bosporus and Dardanelles continues to grow.
It is noted that the negotiations did not lead to a solution to the problem with insurance caused by the sanctions of the European Union against Russian oil.
“26 tankers carrying more than 23 million barrels of oil from Kazakhstan are currently unable to pass through the Bosphorus and Dardanelles, which are vital entry points for crude oil and other commodities from the Black Sea,” the statement said.
Recall that after the introduction of regular anti-Russian restrictions, the Turkish authorities introduced a new requirement for tankers – to provide letters from their insurers confirming that they are insured for sailing through the straits.
