Blogger Aniri spoke about concerts in hospital corridors: “My heart is shaking, my hands are shaking”

As part of the “ZV Airborne Troops,” which includes many of our stars, the girl regularly visits the DPR. The artists have already performed for the legendary international brigade “Pyatnashka”, for the reconnaissance battalion “Sparta”, at the Donetsk airport and other units directly on the front line. One of the last was a trip to the small town of Starobelsk in the Lugansk region. Several weeks have passed, but the blogger still cannot forget about this speech – the trip made such a strong impression on her.

“We were in the hospital in the city of Starobelsk, brought there humanitarian aid from our volunteers, a lot of medicines, instruments. “Everything we could collect based on the needs of this hospital,” said the “MK” artist. “But the most difficult performance was for those who were in the hospital. I was asked to sing literally 3-4 songs. Many people don’t understand how this happens. There are no concert halls there. I sang in the corridor where several guys were lying. Apparently they had just been delivered. They had serious leg wounds and shrapnel wounds. One of the guys lay there and moaned loudly. And then the doctor says, the singer Aniri will sing for you now and will make you happy. I look at this guy with wounds, in his eyes, and think: what songs does he need now? He lies and groans in pain, and he doesn’t need any songs to lift his spirits.

But I have to sing for everyone. And I start singing, periodically, looking at him. Then I see how his eyes widen, how he looks at me with such surprise, listens to every word of my song. When the mini-concert was over, I went up to him and we talked. Unexpectedly, he admitted that at first he thought, “What a concert there is!” And then, while I was singing, he really forgot about the pain in his legs! And for me, of course, this is the highest rating. It’s great that when we come, even with mini-concerts, the guys reboot and forget about their problems, their wounds.”

However, the artists who come to military units are not only busy with performances. As Aniri said, they, unfortunately, have to play the role of messengers, informing relatives about the fighter’s condition. This news is not always good.

“We also travel to different departments. After these trips, people leave feedback with gratitude. It also happens that the relatives of the guys in whose units we were in write. Often their loved ones call me directly and ask me to find this or that guy. For example, he was in touch, but on such and such a date he stopped. We contact the commanders and usually find out good news: he is just completing a mission, or he is injured, but alive and is in such and such a place.”
