“We’ll eat local cheese”

Singer and blogger Aniri visited Crimea with her family last summer. And now she is seriously thinking about buying real estate in a Black Sea resort. The artist shared the details with MK.

“Indeed, now my husband and I are looking for an apartment in Crimea, because Crimea is something incredible! Last year, my family and I visited there for the first time. We drove almost along the entire coast and, of course, both we and the children enjoyed the trip was an absolute delight. We literally fell in love with the peninsula!

We decided to go to Crimea to show the children that Russia is a very beautiful country, that there are wonderful places here. We wanted to talk with them about the history of our Motherland. But to be honest, we didn’t even expect to like it so much. We stopped in Yalta and took a small minibus to travel along the coast and visit various sights. We drove towards Sevastopol, visited Balaklava Bay, rented a boat and drove along the embankment where the warships are stationed. This is such power! In the evening we went to watch the sunset at Cape Fiolent. Inconceivable beauty! – Can’t put it into words! But the mosquitoes bit us (smiles). We went to Sudak,

“we climbed Ai-Petri along the serpentine road, visited caves, traveled to vineyards in the Sun Valley,” the blogger shared. – I really hope that we will find a suitable housing option in the near future. We will not move, of course, but we will come with pleasure! We are thinking about buying an apartment or a house in Crimea just so we can eat the incredible local cheese more often. (Laughs.) And also Crimean mulberries, figs, tomatoes, peaches, apricots. Insanely delicious seafood! Mussels, brine, which are sold on the coast. What about Crimean tea with mountain herbs? – We drank it all autumn! I think you already know everything about Crimean wines…

In general, I am very glad that Crimea is part of Russia. I remember well the day of the annexation of Crimea; the whole country followed this event. It was real happiness!”
