Bishkek calls on Russia to provide citizens of Kyrgyzstan with free medical insurance

Kyrgyzstan called on Russia to provide free health insurance to migrant workers and their families.
Deputy Prime Minister Edil Baisalov proposed that the Russian authorities, in accordance with EAEU standards, consider introducing compulsory health insurance (CHI) for labor migrants from Kyrgyzstan in Russia. The Deputy Prime Minister expressed hope for “a positive consideration of this issue.” Compulsory health insurance, he said, will create favorable conditions for the stay of migrants and their families on Russian territory.
