Fashion historian and host of the Fashion Sentence program Alexander Vasiliev celebrates his birthday. Already in the morning he was bombarded with congratulations. Vasiliev was all in business and worries in preparing a party in honor of the holiday, but we briefly interrupted his interesting lesson. Alexander was in a great mood, agreed to share the latest news from his life, said that he intended to spend this day listening to the wonderful song of The Beatles “When I`m Sixty-Four” (“When I’m 64”). “Such a wonderful song that asks: will you love me? Will you look for a meeting with me, will you want to have breakfast and dinner with me when I turn 64? Let people think about it. And now I have reached this age, and people want to see me, and feed me, and communicate, and even take interviews, ”says the maestro.

Although the TV throws on additional years, Vasiliev does not look at all at his 64. He admitted that he simply carefully cares for his face. In today’s world, there is no way without it now! Firstly, he uses hyaluronic ointment, which helps him a lot along with the cream, and, secondly, he tries to eat right. “But I did without beauty injections. This is true, for me this is also an achievement. Well, everyone deserves their own face, you know,” he thought philosophically about his own beauty.

Alexander does not favor winter activities, he does not ski and skate, but he can literally walk kilometers every day. “I skated as a child, but that was a lot of years ago – more than 50. I don’t practice any kind of active sport at all. The maximum is swimming in the sea or in the pool, ”the presenter shared the details of his life.

And, of course, the celebration itself: how not to ask about it! It turned out that they would be walking in one of the popular Moscow restaurants: the banquet would be held for several dozen people. “Relatives are invited, the best students who have been faithful to me for 20 years. Some of them have been with me on 40 trips abroad. So really those who deserve it will come, – the birthday man opened the cards. “I’ll put on something beautiful, new, original, to be seen and please everyone and everything.”

Speaking of birthdays, one cannot help but ask about gifts. It turned out that every year a birthday for Vasiliev is a real headache. And it’s about where to put the flowers. “Very often they give me a lot of bouquets of flowers, but there is nowhere to put them, which is even a shame, because the bouquets are so beautiful. It’s just impossible!” – Alexander spread his hands, saying that now it became clear to him why many artists have to distribute flowers to other people: they don’t have so many vases! Next on the list of the most common gifts is French champagne. He leaves it for the new year. “It will always come in handy,” the TV presenter explained. “And they give me a lot of vintage things: vintage shoes, bags, dresses, hats to add to my huge collection.”

Speaking of Paris. The idea to see him and die with the maestro may have once existed, but after he settled there and even bought housing, now he only wants to live in Paris. And not only there. It turns out that Alexander bought apartments on the Baltic Sea in the Kaliningrad region, and Turkey. I recently returned from Antalya, where it was very warm. Against the backdrop of frosty Moscow, the birthday boy especially felt all the charm of his purchase. And in Turkey, housing is also next to the pool in a quiet village place. “I bought an apartment in Antalya because it is very warm there. And in order to warm the bones of a man in his old age. Nobody wants to live in the cold. We get very cold in winter. I like plus 20 more than minus 20,” Alexander told us.

Vasiliev shared the details of the upcoming new year. He admitted that no Paris is yet in the plans: he will remain in the capital.

“I will most likely participate in some events in Moscow, accept interesting proposals. I love this holiday very much, I will decorate the Christmas tree.
