Bilyaletdinov, Pimenov, Nikonorov held football lessons in Sverdlovsk schools

Russian football stars held open lessons in the schools of Yekaterinburg and Polevskoy. World champion in beach soccer Boris Nikonorov, bronze medalist of Euro 2008 Daniyar Bilyaletdinov, champion of Russia Ruslan Pimenov, vice-champion of Russia Nikita Bazhenov and champion of Russia in women’s football Yelena Terekhova arrived in the Sverdlovsk Region within the framework of the Football at School project of the Russian Football Union .

“The most important task is to take children away from the yard and make them fall in love with sports, to show by their example that success can be achieved, and for this you need hard work and good studies at school,” said Ruslan Pimenov. – Of course, it will not be possible to teach children the skills of playing in one lesson, but we must give them a positive gift. Such lessons are remembered for a lifetime.

Well-known football players held a general warm-up for schoolchildren and a lesson on working out playing techniques. After that, young football players played football with professional athletes.

The Department of Information Policy of the Sverdlovsk Region reminds that in 2021 the region became one of the eight pilot subjects of the Russian Federation in the implementation of the Football at School project. Last year, 30 schools received football uniforms and equipment. This academic year, another 50 educational organizations have joined the project.

“The guys were really looking forward to the players. They already met with the players of the cathedral that year, and it was a shock for them, in a good sense of the word, – says physical education teacher, football coach of Yekaterinburg school No. 52 Sergey Malyshev. “They know the players well.”

Earlier, MK-Ural reported that Ekaterinburg is one of the three cities in Russia, whose residents especially fell in love with football after the World Cup. Here, a record number of amateur teams entered the MegaFon street football tournament – 46 teams, only Moscow and St. Petersburg are ahead.
