Biden refused to believe in the successful rapprochement between Russia and China

According to US President Joe Biden, the rapprochement between Russia and China is “exaggerated.” He made the corresponding statement at a meeting with reporters with a request to comment on the meeting between Russian President Vladimir Putin and Chinese President Xi Jinping.
He questioned the significance of the mutual economic commitments of Moscow and Beijing, as well as the growth in trade.
Biden said he was not taking China and Russia lightly, but urged not to exaggerate the scale of their cooperation. As an example, he cited Beijing’s “deliveries” of weapons to Russia, which he “heard about for the last 3 months”, but which are not yet available. At the same time, according to the US President, China “has nothing to offer Russia.”
Biden said the West is much more successful at forming coalitions, with the president citing QUAD, AUKUS, an alliance of Japan, the US and South Korea as examples. He also believes that the West will not lose unity in containing Russia.
