Biden predicted problems due to the upcoming OPEC deal

Russia and Saudi Arabia could deal a serious blow to US President Joe Biden if they can agree to cut oil production under OPEC+. This point of view was expressed by an American newspaper columnist Hill Simon Henderson.
He noted that messages from the impending deal between Moscow and Riyadh came at the most inopportune moment, as it could harm the Democrats in the midterm congressional elections in November.
Henderson recalled that Biden had a rather unfortunate visit to Saudi Arabia in early summer. Then the US president failed to convince the crown prince of the kingdom, Mohammed bin Salman Al Saud, to increase oil production.
According to the observer, Washington is disappointed with Saudi Arabia because of its alleged oil alliance with Moscow.
