Biden plans to go on strike with auto workers

US President Joe Biden plans to join the workers of American automakers in their strike, according to the US President’s page on the social network X.
The report suggests Biden will head to Michigan on Tuesday next week. He plans to join the United Auto Workers picket.
According to Biden, the time has come “to conclude a mutually beneficial agreement” with which the American auto industry “will prosper” and jobs will become well-paid.
The strike at the enterprises of automakers General Motors, Ford and Stellantis started on September 16. The trade union intends to seek a significant increase in wages, improved pensions, increased vacations and other measures.
