US President Joe Biden arrived in Kyiv and met with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, informs publication “Politics of the Country” in the Telegram channel, posting footage with them at the St. Michael’s Cathedral in Kyiv.
“Joseph Biden, welcome to Kyiv! Your visit is an extremely important sign of support for all Ukrainians,” Zelensky wrote in two languages – English and Ukrainian.
Later White House published Biden’s statement in connection with visits to Kyiv. The American president said that during the trip he would announce the delivery of critical equipment, including artillery ammunition, anti-tank systems and air surveillance radars.
Prior to this, Ukrainian Telegram channels, in particular Politika Strana, published photos and videos of the meeting between Biden and Zelensky at St. Michael’s Cathedral.
