US President Joe Biden addressed the situation in Israel. He described Hamas’ actions as “pure, unadulterated evil.”
He called Hamas a “terrorist organization” and said more than 1,000 civilians had been killed in Israel, including at least 14 American citizens.
“The United States will make sure that Israel has the means to defend itself against Hamas attacks,” the American leader said, stressing that Israel “has every right” to respond to an “act of terrorism.”
Biden intends to urgently work with Congress to allocate funds for Israel’s needs. He also announced that he was ready to send additional military forces to the Middle East if necessary.
The US President warned any third country or organization against trying to take advantage of the worsening Palestinian-Israeli conflict.
In addition, Biden confirmed that Hamas hostages include US citizens. In this regard, experts will be sent to Israel to study the issue of their release.
