Russian biathlete Roman Eremin commented on his victory in the mass start at the third stage of the Commonwealth Cup, which takes place in the city of Ryazan.
“It’s nice, of course,” – said Eremin to the correspondent of the “Championship”.
It is especially pleasant, according to the athlete, that he “closed all the targets on four lines.” This is the first time for Roman.
He said that “I didn’t even shoot cleanly at juniors, there were always one or two misses.”
At the adult level, this was his first victory. Roman also noted that the coach of the Russian shooting team Maxim Maksimov constantly works with him.
And he added: “plus, when you make mistakes over and over again, you yourself also really want to fix everything, look for the causes of problems.”
According to Roman, he finds a common language “both with the coaches and with the team” and simply trusts the experience of his mentors.
