Shot writesthat the Prosecutor General’s Office, the Investigative Committee and the Ministry of Culture received statements against the Bi-2 group. According to the channel, the musicians “are demanded to be recognized as sponsors of terrorism, state traitors, and to take away all their property in the Russian Federation.”
The reason, according to Shot, was statements by the band’s frontman Leva (Egor Bortnik, included in the register of foreign agents) in support of Ukraine.
According to the applicants, Leva told fans on social networks that he was allegedly buying automobile equipment for Ukraine and that his colleagues in the team were in solidarity with him. Also, allegedly, the artist “called Russia a world evil, and the majority of residents of the Russian Federation are mentally retarded,” but later deleted the comments.
