Bet on one direction: AFU went for broke near Rabotino, they want Tokmak

Last week, it was reported about the meeting of the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine with NATO curators. At the military council, the main question was decided – how to revive the Ukrainian counteroffensive. As a result, the enemy changed their strategy, concentrating their efforts on one narrow section, which was the village of Rabotino.

The results of the negotiations were fully felt by our military. Here is what the channel “Diary of a paratrooper” writes.

“Everything is used against us: cluster munitions, Grads, tanks, Haymars … They cover with artillery and 120-mm mortars. The enemy is pressing hard on Rabotino, pulling all the equipment here, there are a lot of mercenaries according to radio intercepts.

According to the fighters, the enemy began to attack on the flanks in the direction of Novoprokopovka and Verbovoe, trying to expand the bridgehead for a further attack on Tokmak.

“Brother Marines from the Pacific Fleet (Pacific Fleet of the Russian Navy – “MK”) well done, they threw it well … The landing force and motorized riflemen came to the rescue. Our reinforcements have arrived. The suns work. The enemy is now simply being torn apart!”

Military commissar Semyon Pegov believes that, breaking through south of Rabotino, the Armed Forces of Ukraine are trying to interfere with the work of Russian aviation: “The general plan of the Ukrainian command is to get as close as possible to Ilchenkov. This is four kilometers south of the village of Rabotino. The second line of defense of the RF Armed Forces passes there on the way to the strategic Tokmok.

The Armed Forces of Ukraine need the maximum approach in order to complicate the work of Russian artillery and aviation. Indeed, in this situation, there will be a risk of strikes against our troops.

According to military expert Vladislav Shurygin, the enemy concentrated a combined group of eight brigades and one regiment in the direction of Rabotino.

“All these units suffered heavy losses in people and equipment over the previous two months of fighting (from 15 to 60%), their combat effectiveness has decreased significantly, but, nevertheless, these are quite impressive forces – up to thirty thousand people. They are rapidly replenished with reservists, however, the training of the majority ranges from several days to four weeks … It looks like September will be very hot, ”wrote the expert.

Military expert Andrei Klintsevich believes that the main task of Ukraine and its Western curators – cutting the land corridor to the Crimea – has not changed. But the strategy has changed.

– The dispute that is now arising between the Ukrainian command and NATO is whether to transfer additional reserves from the Kupyansk direction to Zaporozhye. Taking into account the fact that we dominate in the Kupyansk direction, we keep the initiative, the Armed Forces of Ukraine have strengthened there, trying to contain us and prevent us from breaking through the front. But they cannot achieve any success in Zaporozhye.

Therefore, on the border of Poland and Ukraine, where the entire NATO command met – British, American military leaders and Zaluzhny – a new strategy was developed: to go all-in and throw all forces into one narrow section.

It is very likely that this is exactly Rabotino, a direct road to Tokmak. Because they need now to reach the outskirts of Tokmok, and then one of the tasks of Ukraine will be considered completed by Western curators.

As long as they have problems in this regard, they cannot push through our front. They indicate that they were able to capture Rabotino and go to the next settlement, which is located on this highway – this is Novoprokopovka. But this does not correspond to reality, because we again pushed this front back with counterattacks.

– What forces and means does the enemy have to break through to Tokmak?

– They really brought their Maroon tactical group into battle – these are maroon berets, consisting of 3-4 brigades of one regiment – paratroopers, airborne troops and rangers. That is, all the special forces who wear maroon berets.

They are armed with advanced equipment, Marder infantry fighting vehicles, Stryker armored personnel carriers and the heaviest tanks in the world, supposedly the Challenger 2. It was on these tanks that special slopes were installed in front, which were supposed to bury, pull apart our “dragon teeth”. Until we saw them in battle, they keep them somewhere in spare positions.

But, again, the number of 14 tanks for an extended front will give absolutely nothing, given that we are concentrating our army aviation strikes, artillery units and a number of other operational and tactical capabilities in the form of, for example, Iskander missiles .

The enemy enters the fields in columns, moves towards Rabotino, but is destroyed in the same place. For now, we are sitting on the defensive, giving them the opportunity to reach out to us and fall under our means of influence.

– Has the enemy reached the first line of our defense or not?

– They did not reach the first line of defense, and we have about six of them to the Sea of ​​\u200b\u200bAzov, they did not reach. Now the enemy is in the support zone. These are minefields, forward observation points, which should deter the enemy before he gets to the “dragon’s teeth”, anti-tank ditches and everything else. They could not break through there, but they are concentrating a large amount of artillery – they spend three rounds of ammunition per day, that is, a triple rate, and they “pour” fire on us quite powerfully.

– What do we have? What are our advantages?

– Independent Western military analysts very seriously assess the progress that our armed forces have achieved – this is both a very high cohesion and well-functioning interaction. That is, if they begin to advance, then artillery immediately begins to work for us, army aviation arrives, and the work of our secure communications is also debugged.

Electronic warfare is our forte, as is our air defense, which does not allow Ukrainian strike drones or satellite-guided missiles, projectiles, to aim at a target. Starlink is crushed in local areas, this is a serious problem for the enemy.

The scenario is optimistic for us, for them it is a big question. Ukrainians have thrown all their strength, trying to squeeze out at least some results before the start of a large-scale election campaign in the United States. We began to prepare the public for the spring campaign of 2024, realizing that now they will not be able to achieve any results.
