The European Union, despite the imposition of sanctions against Russia, is by no means averse to buying Russian products. In particular, cheap Russian cucumbers began to be noticed on the shelves of Poland. At the same time, not smuggling – all goods are certified.

According to Inosmi citing the Berliner Zeitung, dozens of trucks regularly arrive at the wholesale market in Bronisze, Poland, bringing cheap Russian cucumbers and tomatoes into the country.

Cucumbers, for example, are sold at 55 zlotys per 5 kilograms (11.69 euros), which is an order of magnitude cheaper than products from the EU, which have only become more expensive recently.

One of the sellers told the Polish newspaper Super-Express that Russian suppliers have no problems with documents: they have all the necessary certificates.

At the same time, in Germany, the cost of one cucumber reaches 3.29 euros. This, among other things, was the result of rising electricity prices.
