According to Buchner, the Russian House of Science and Culture is now being checked for violations of the law on foreign trade and payments. Buechner did not provide any additional or clarifying information.

According to the newspaper, the reason for the check was the statement of the former member of the Bundestag from the Green Party, Volker Beck, who, according to him, filed a complaint with the prosecutor’s office. He claims that Russia House in Berlin is engaged in “Kremlin propaganda”, so he needs to be checked. According to Beck, the organizers of the cultural center include an agency that is included in the sanctions lists.

Meanwhile, Rossotrudnichestvo noted that they have not yet received any notifications from the Russia House in Berlin on the fact of the prosecutor’s check, transmit “RIA News”. The agency has been on the EU sanctions list since July 2022 after the adoption of the seventh package of sanctions.

The Russian House, also known as the Russian House of Science and Culture, was founded in Berlin in the 1980s. as a Soviet scientific and cultural center. The Russia House has a book fund with 20,000 books, most of which are in Russian, and you can also take Russian language courses there. Among other cultural events that are held there are music festivals, film screenings, exhibitions, etc. The center’s activities are aimed at developing cultural, humanitarian, scientific and educational ties between Russia and Germany.

According to Tagesspiegel, Ukrainian activists have long been protesting against the work of the Russia House in Berlin against the backdrop of the ongoing NWO. In particular, in early March, the building of the organization was susceptible attacked by vandals, who at the entrance caused several inscriptions in German, they were immediately washed away. However, the German police did not confirm this incident.
